Hub of Talents on Diagnostics Test Kits Collaboration Network for Diagnostics Development Centers As one of the initiatives under the Innovation Hub project, the Collaboration Network of Diagnostics Development Centers (CNDC) was established to promote collaboration between diagnostic research centers in 7 major universities across Thailand. The main objective of CNDC is to facilitate research, development, and production of diagnostic kits, with the ultimate aim of commercialization. This initative is led by the Cen ter of Excellence on Medical Biotechnology (CEMB) at Mahidol University, a research center specializing in the research and development of detection kits for diseases and food safety applications, with extensive experience in mediating collaboration between network universities in the field of medical biotechnology. Other universities in CNDC include Chiang Mai University, Naresuan University, Khon Kaen University, Burapha University, Prince of Songkla University, and Chulalongkorn University.

Lyo-LAMP; a molecular screening for respiratory diseases

 

 

Lyo-LAMP technology allows you to perform a test for COVID-19, Influenza A, In fluenza B, and RSV (A and B) easily in one-step process for sample and reagent preparation. The test is all done at one consistent temperature and can get results for these four viruses in 20 minutes, allowing it to be a rapid molecular test for screening diseases. Lyo-LAMP is a nucleic acid amplification test, which is designed for detect viral genetic material. This technology is similar technology to a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay.

Genomic DNA Extraction Kit

 

 

The main components of a nucleic acid extraction kit are magnetic nanoparticles and extraction buffers, such as lysis buffer, washing buffer, and elution buffer. The extraction process involves capturing nucleic acids with magnetic nanoparticles, after which they are easily separated and purified by applying an external magnetic field, making them ready for use in any downstream applications.

Our AI program assesses biological age and vital organ health for Thai individuals. It analyzes health indicators to determine body and organ youthfulness, focusing on overall body age and the biological age of the liver, kidneys, heart, and pancreas. This Thai-specific algorithm achieves 80% accuracy compared to standard methods. The digital platform enables ongoing health monitoring and encourages lifestyle improvements implemented in health check-ups, providing tailored health insights for the Thai population.
